I’m thinking of leaving the clubs and going mobile… so will need a decent rig for private functions.

My woodworking skills are non existent and as much as I’d love to start a project building cabs I’ve done some quick research and come to the conclusion I would be better off buying a brand.

Heard a void basys system years ago and it was awesome for the kind of thing I’d need but it looks like it’s been discontinued…

A set of 12”/1” tops and 15” bins would probably be ideal. Maybe 2x double 15s or 4x singles.

What is there currently on the market in this area?

Thanks, Joe

Unless you are set on passive, I would be going active for this sort of thing. Depends on budget but I would be looking at Yamaha DXR, DZR if looking to spend more, perhaps the offerings from thomann's 'The Box' series if looking to spend less. 4 DXS15 and 2 DXR12s would be a great system for up to 250+ people depending on genre and venue I would say.
