Amp form one of my Beag HEC90 studio monitors. Made in Hungary in 1986. Tri-amp, 4-way. 15" + 8" + high-mid horn + supertweeter. 3 amp channels + "processing" board. Two power supplies - the brown potted transformer powers midrange and tweeters and the toroid powers the woofer. 80+kg per monitor.

When life gives you lemons, sell them and use the money to buy more audio gear.

Best Regards,

Great price, great amplifier! Put'em to make money!

can't grumble at the sound it makes, and everything's glued down very firmly.

Hopefully, by the end of the year, I should have 20 of them at my disposal.

Best Regards,

Cheapish (made in China) and very low performance amplifiers found in 99.9% of the ACTIVE SPEAKER products today!
A very bad & ugly trajectory..
Oh I forget to say that the *errors of sound system* are usually ?! eliminated--corrected ?! by DSP  .. :-(((((

Thats the way it is.  Marketing and manipulation sells better than real quality.

*Modern dsp controlled = to make horrible raw response look more flat
*light weight smps power supply = under powered
*Rigid cast frame woofer = other parts taken from the cheapest model available including miniature magnet
*computer modeled horn = how to make it as cheap as possible and to have some kind of directivity

For typical customer, these and many other marketing terms looks good. So they buy them. And most people listening music in concerts will not blame the SQ.  Everything works as planned, no need to make any changes and money is circulating.
