Quite, certainly impossible to work on 'live' but the trick is to disconnect the wires to the rest of the amp then remove the module as a whole, the James Mellors amp is the same. You can then seperate-out the pcbs using a pair of long-nose pliers to undo the furthest faston connectors.
Once you've fixed your first 20 it becomes a bit easier. |

Still easy to work on compared to Carver PM series
i have the studiomaster 1200D and Horizon 1208 that share almost same design as this they need regular cleaning....however...
