Easy guys,
Need recommendations that will be the best possible amps for the job, powering this rig in the best way possible... 6 x WSX with Void V18-1000 8 Ohm 1000W drivers. 3 x F215 MKIII Kicks with PD.1550 8 Ohm 600W drivers. 4 x Martin Audio W8C with original drivers. Cheers.

The best amps are always the most expensive you can afford! So - what's the budget? You can go from cheaper Chinese stuff, or T-Amps - to Powersoft, QSC, Lab Gruppen, etc, etc. All down to the cash. |

K10 if you cant afford a k20.
If that's too much for your budget I'd vote for a set of QSC4050. 1k ought to get you a set of 3 on a good day. Three would run 6x wsx nicely in bridge when you wanted the beans out of them or stereo indoors where you cant hammer them anyway. Pair of sae 1450 would do it, or the classic inf8 mkll Have you considered the knock off chinese labs? Sibonsen I think is the brand |

Powersoft X4L for the subs, two box per channel
Then a Powersoft X8 for the rest With a dedicated 32a 3phase power for each You did say "the best"

Got a guy offering me a load of QSC Powerlight amps to power them.
Did the maths, they will work. But are they ‘obsolete’, and if so, how?

Don't forget to include a spare amp in your maths, whatever type of amp you decide to buy.
In the years to come you will be pleased you did. |

Most probably "obsolete" in that they don't include DSP. Otherwise fine! Sometimes the latest shiny new model is actually inferior to what came before! Hype!! |

No not at all. Linea has a way to go until it gets to Armonia level. |

Would be nice if the OP gives details (model etc) of the PowerLights He's considering. @ Sinai Sound, Can't understand your rec for a 1000W speaker that's at least 10yrs vintage. X4L provides 6400/8400W (burst?). Not knowing thew OP's competence, on paper this is looking like a recipe .... |
