Im about to put some foam on to the back of metall grill on my RCF ESW 1018.

I got this spray adhesive from Adam hall and spray it gently on to the grill. problem is whe attaching the foam to the grill the glue is very visible and it looks very bad.

Is there any other type of glue for this?

Notice my foam is attached behind the grill seen from the front of speaker.

The glue is to be seen between the holes in the grill everywhere...

Spray paint grill,
Lay it on top of foam,
Put weight spread evenly on grill.

Simples.

3m77 is the right stuff but only spray the grill,if you get it on the foam then dust will stick to it through the holes.

I've got some good results with bison spray glue. When I had the same question, people advised scotch weld 77, but I'm almost sure it's the same stuff but with a different brand on in.
My foam (or actually mesh) is still holding on.

I also had good results with white wood glue, applied it with paint roller on the grill, and press it evenly for about 3/4 hours.

3M sell a product called 'Craft Mount' - just Google '3M Craft Mount' - probably not too different from the 3M77 mentioned earlier.

Spray it on the grill very, very sparingly. A light dust coating is all that is needed. When spraying keep the grill spaced well off any surface so that the residual spray dust doesn't blow back onto the front of the grill. Give it a few moments to become tacky. From my experience it works best just to spray the grill only. Position the foam sheet very accurately as once it comes into contact with the grill it is difficult to re position again.

Scotchweld 77 is usually a bit cheaper than Craft mount, but either will do the job.

NEVER spray both surfaces. Lay the foam flat, spray grill only and lay the grill onto the foam.

As pointed out above if you spray the foam there will be glue on the exposed foam between the perforations, which will pick up dust, bugs, and anything else floating around. It will make a pigs ear of the job.
If it's got wheels or tits it's gonna cost a fortune

I bought some 5mm hi-fi35 foam from Amazon and have done exactly the same to all my speakers, I used double sided sticky tape I got from Poundland and it works great.

This foam :

I lined the sides and middle of the inside of the grill from screw hole to screw hole so there's a lot of tape holding it and it's excellent.
