Slighty off subjuct but ive gota pair of Q18's loaded with the recomended BMS drivers for sale. Designed by Tony Wilkes and built by bee they look very similar to those sub 18's but are more compact and have a better output both in terms of frequency response and SPL. Pm me if anyones interested.

How does the B&C SUB18 sound in terms of musicality and how high can I run it?( I have build 155 liters reflex subs tuned to 45 hz with FaitalPro 18FH510 and I'm happy with the overall sound)
I am now planing on building 4 x B&C SUB18s with FaitalPro 18HP1010-4 ohm version (very similar TS with B&C-s 18TBX100 recomended for this plan. Question is:what major differences will be between the smaller 155 liter box and the b&c sub 18 plan?

Marketing is why many are brainwashed into thinking a small enclosure will offer the same performance as a large enclosure when using an 18-inch woofer.

That is very broad statement, both true and false at once.
If the speaker cannot fully exploit capabilities of the box due to the low performance of "itself", then it might happen that smaller system could do the same as larger system. Product lines are wide, from low-end to hi-tech... |

There is nothing false about it. The name of the game is to sell as many products as possible. If it takes using a two smaller enclosures in order to achieve the same response in terms of performance using one larger enclosure, so be it. Such marketing tactics has been going on for 30 years...
