Thought these pics might be interesting if anyone hasn't had the dubious pleasure of having one apart yet.

oh it's got a few random twinkling leds, random values scolling on the monitor and some of the buttons and knobs dont work. I suspect a stuck output line on one of the I2C decoders. Each section or board is a node of a network with its own RISC processor that communicates with the cpu. The boards each have their own I2C bus that handles the control surface data such as knobs, leds, switches etc on the respective board.

A £2K desk that drops a Yammy on it ass...
'nuff said. Amazing preamps (yes really good) great feature set and cheaper than a decent bass guitar 9which Yammy do make) aprt from the X32KE, which just bemuses me, I would say the whole X32 project rocks. Just before someone ask, the X32 Ke is the X32 "kinked Edition" same signal path, higher price, nicer to flight case, but really you need a very short cock to buy one...

Had the opportunity of playing on a X32 a few times and must say a very very nice mixer. It takes a bit of getting used to but lovely to use.
