He needs it to play up to 1000 hz to meet comps.

By the way commercial selling on the forum is not allowed. A lot of people forget but this is a DIY forum, not a platform for advertising...

You should use directivity, that's easiest for TDA's version and sim in 4,0 pi as well.

Im a real newbie but here some plots:

without using directivity 4pxi sims of 121 tda version

121 tda varsion 4pxi in directivity equals to "0"

results are so far... i need to improve my knowledge over this sims prog!

"are u simulating without mask the resonance? is that the correct way?"

Yes, if you want to see it with all the nasties that may pop up.

I generally check it both ways, and show the worst.

It looks pretty good, that's why I posted it.

I have the drivers sitting here, but haven't started to cut the wood yet. I have several alternate designs (with two 12PE32) in use, so I am in no hurry.

ive made some sims, both with mine 12hpl76
1 single speaker (is it the correct way to do it?)

another with 2 12hpl76.
correct if im wrong but the extension and the much more power comes from the double driver mor thant the project...others horn are about single driver so is more corretc to compare them as single speakers!

DJK, you're talking about the yet non-existent successor of your double 12" mantaray here, aren't you? The one with 100 Hz f3? I've been reading about it in various horn threads on here, diyaudio and elsewhere. Stop teasing us dude!  Embarrassed Clap

I hope you will get around to building and verifying this new design soon, as I'm speccing a new system, and would love to find a good lowmid/mid design to cover roughly 100 - 1000 Hz to bridge the gap between some X1's and B&C DE75s.... I would prefer to not use kick bins.... been ploughing through countless mid horn threads on here without results (well, except for this.....)

Not likely to happen, I am a dead man walking.

Just got out of a week in the hospital.

I need a new heart, and it's not going to happen.
