If you want a mini or a full scoop for 1850 send me a PM.
Won't sell just one though. Don't see what good that will be apart from what Lev indicated with the tape measure Minimum 4.

ASS RX18s are not the best scoops for PD1850s. There are better scoops for PD1850s than RX18. Not hearsay or rumor, I've owned RX18s, and some of the others. Which is why I designed mine to compete with those. Edited by levyte357- - 16 October 2012 at 6:09pm |

Lev, in your opinion, what do you think the best speaker in the RX18 is?

The PD1850 does sound real good in it, but sounds even better in the S118. Think I said that to you on the phone. There is a driver that sounds savage in the RX18, but won't mention it here, or it'll drive the price up. |

A lot of good ideas or affirmations right here.
But i'd like to have more informations about what is the best
scoops that i could build by myself (even if i have to buy some plans...)
I don't have the dunza to buy 6 scoops like this, but it is ok if i build it
by myself...
I heard about eminence desgin could be good for PD 1850 what about this ?
It needs to be modified ?
And can I have more infos about the fact that superscoopers are so bad
for 1850 whereas it has been designed for this driver no ?
Thanks for your help guys.

Yes some boxes are better than others but everybody will have a different opinion on scoops because everyone will have a different perception of what sounds good, Also it depends on so much things that will make it sound good other than just the box (e.g Pre-amp or LMS, Heavyweight or SMPS amps, turntable or CD, hall size?) Alf (Ligwa) said "a scoop is a scoop its how you play it" I have always thought that anyway

Yes, indeed a scoop is a scoop but the aim is to make it the best possible...
I don't want to make several kind of cabs in my life, this is an serious investment...
So the eminence could be good ? could you be more precise about the braces ?
Is there any modified plan available ?
Thanks
