Well.  If I could get all my old ones in one place there would be 36 I reckon....  Unfortunately I never get past 12 without getting bored and going down a different route...

serious Matieo...
Ive been threatening for a while, so dont hold me to it just yet....but my dream is to double up on the stack you see in the picture above. (The only difference will be i'll build 4 single 12" Eminence Flares instead of another pair of the 15" kick mids (black ones in picture)....
.....I love the Eminence 12" trap tops but they dont play low enough for my liking...So im going to modify the design before i build 4 more. Ya see, Id like the option of running a top on 2 HDs, as a mini rig option. But as is...the HDs run to 120hz....the kick mids run 120-250hz, and the tops take off from there (passive split at 2k with the horns)....

(What you cant see in the above picture was 3 of my old double 15s reflex bins per side fill, with a single 15, single 12 and horn per side too....
The reflexs struggled to keep up with the HDs, which is why i got rid, but it twas a tidy system at the time).....

so...we actually gonna link the HDs at some point....???
quik count and im guessing we could have 24 a side between us no problems... :) :)

Peace,
Chris.

24 per side.. easy! Just about to order my PD154s... would be soo up for a huge linkup when all done... can you imagine 48 HDs!!

By my (rather basic calculations) that should hit around  149db at 1 meter... ouch.

18 at ScumTek 2 (a squat party ) in London, 2005. Our 8 were running of Infi 8's loaded with PD154's, loophole had 6 I think, not sure what his were loaded with. We had 6 or so 1850s underneath, with porns and phili's for tops. Nice. HOWEVER, this was one side of the main Techno link up, the other side was, deep breath, 6 Lab Horns, 6 0r 8 turbo 18s, I forget which ones (Tribe Of Munts) with Flashlight and W8C tops. That was heavy as f**k! 8 HDs over 4 21" turbo subs, again cant remember what, with w8c's for tops was also rude.

They were running it all from these:

N.B Loophole left amp rack. Abacus right amp rack.

I'm sorry to say both myself and Loophole were disappointed with this. It didn't quite live up to our expectations. Wasn't as powerful/loud as I thought it would be.... We thought maybe there was some cancellation somewhere.

Loophole's HDs are right of middle, powered by Chevin and ours on left powered by FFA 6. Incidentally we found the FFA to be a much nicer and a more transparent amp (chevin also lovely amp of course)... hahahaaa money indeed well spent!!! ... GO GET ONE!

Basically there was not quite enough weight to the stack. I'm not sure if this is also because Jungle lacks it??? dunno. would've liked to have played Dubstep thru it all as a comparison.

Room 1 is a bit echoey and quite big ... you gotta have 8+ scoops to overpower it like Iration Steppas do. or another 16 HDs on the other side of the room should do it.

LINK UP ANYONE!?

Wait another month and we'll have 4 Labhorns underneath our 8 HDs. Not sure how our 4  2.5K of mid/tops will do over >12K BASS AND SUB. we shall see.

I wouldn't think having all HDs in one stack would work so well. stacks of 16 with gaps between would prob be optimum... any ideas on that?

nice photos Symbiosis! took loads of photos and my phone was sh*te every time.
