I contacted Mark Oldroyd at precision devices for more info, the pd121, pd122 and 12sb30 will all work in a compact BR design.

The 12sb30 will give more low freq. output in sacrifice of the mid freq., the other way around for the 122 and 121 respectively 3.47%  & 5.10% efficiency.
The 122 has a higher xmax(4mm) then the 121(2,5mm) so I gather that higher xmax and more low extention will result in lower efficiency.

As I'm planning on using X1's for subbass from 30-80 hz, the 121 will not be the right choice I think as it needs to be crossed at 100+ hz.

So now I don't know what to do, go for the 12sb30 for some low end extention or one of the lighter coned mid oriented drivers?

So that leaves the 12sb30, PD122 and the BMS320 but now I hear some of the 18sound and B&C models also sound very nice!
Why are there so many choices? hahaha lol!

If you are talking about a single 12" then the 610. The 620 has too much power handling for a 350w X-over.

What X-over are you talking about?

It depends on the final use. If you are always going to use subs then the 610 is the one to go for.

However if you need them to be more of a full range box as well then get the 620. I use the 620's in my double 12" + 1" boxes and they make a pretty impressive job when being used full range. They use a fair bit of low end EQ ( +5db, 60hz Q=2) but seem to lap it up.

Marjan, Strangely enough just got some 802,s in to try, a pair with the co-ax top would make a formidable mid-top. Not got enough X-max though to be used to their max potential full range.

I am using the 802's in my own single 12" ers with a 4552nd comp.

I am just about to spray them having finally gotten around to buying a pressure pot system. As soon as they are presentable I will stick some up.
