The vonhaus I got from amazon, I've now used, 2 sticks of brads and it seems OK. The control for 'power' seems to do naff all. And it doesn't have a soft foot, so tends to leave a mark. Apart from that I've done what I needed it for, and now it's in stock for when I might need it again.
