Called all over and no one carries anything like it, importing price is too high so guess I have to paint them normally.

I just used tuff, so easy if you want to do it yourself, you might get duratex cheaper there.

Actually I requested price for polyurea coating and the prices are very reasonable, this is the pro solution, you prepare the cabs and deliver them to a industry painting place, and they just fix it, then you hit it with a hammer and smile, this is stronger than tuff I would think.

Is polyurea & polyurethan the same thing?

No they are quite different polymers even though their name might sound quite similar.
A proper build subwoofer will be the only thing in a room that is not shaking.

As i have a rather large batch or should I say batches of Enclosures that need coating applied I have been looking into Polyeurea coatings. it is only really effective when in  a particular formulation that requires very specialised apping it needs to be heated and VHP mixed in a special Gun/Applicator cannot be used in a std paint gun as it requires the metering/proportioning machine to mix the 50/50 components which start to cure immediately they're mixed the heaters help reduce the viscosity of the two components and speed the cure.

the applicator uses a pressure jet ejection method Line X uses such a type of setup and seems to be only supplied in 200Kg drums comes in a few basic colours but they can be mixed to form others material costs are around £7 a sq M for a coating of approx 1.5mm

Line X is basically a franchise kind of setup but OEM is available at a start cost of around £20K for single colour apping more for be able to do differing colours.

from my research into it It may be possible to obtain other machines to apply it whilst buying material from Linex as they mostly operate in a very similar fashion. It and similar processes are to be found in many industries inc building such as Roofing, Flooring, Swimming Pools etc. umlike Paint it is a quite thick layer that gets applied very fast. I estimate a average 1M x 0.5M x 0.5M size cab coats in 2-3 mins is cured enuf to move/handle in a few mins and cured in 24hrs

currently negotiating with a local application vendor costing on batches of 10-12 at a time in Black for LF but White is what is preferred for mid/hi  and may entail purchase of materials as not often used

My info is not quite the same as yours.
The machine it self is about 16K us$, one can get a Chinese machine too for quite less, but i have no idea if they are any good. The paint it self is about 7-8 eur per kg which can cover a lot more then 1.5m2.
The paint is cured in 15 seconds. And you buy it from the manufacturer. Not from LineX. LineX is just an OEM brand. It can be sold in barrels that are smaller then 200kg.

I am quite sure you are correct but I have only had such info from Caspar at Line X and have material cost Spreadsheets from them. I am quite sure other machines are readily available and most suppliers are in USA.
I am also confident the Costs given to me by Line x are inflated as they try to wring the death out of it via their franchisees.
they seem to have cooled off with the Hard sell as they have stopped calling so much i am also quite sure i would not buy from them either as I not that stoopid.
I will continue to find an equitable solution to it and possibily offer a coating service for others if it proves financially a good thing.
i am also aware that the better machines are Hydraulically driven as opposed to using air as to the chinese Machines not so keen on that idea and would seek alternitives as it is used here as a material by various other industrial coating firms here in UK

i have not however had enough time to dedicate to the finding a good economical solution to to my future production needs so for the present prepared to sub it out until I do to meet my immediate neeeds

but is a very interesting material for a hard-wearing coating for Touring uses some manufacturers here in UK already using it

please do not tease me,
here I could not find specific paints,so I have tried "anti rhombus" "underbody protection" car paint
does not look so bad, you just have to give it some layer to make it the desired thickness
