Proper amp. Missed a few on the Bay. Peavey stuff is overlooked, their modern lightweights are strong too.

If you're the one operating it, then whether it 'withstands extreme touring conditions' or not is mostly down to you. They can fail obviously, and no doubt more often than a real workhorse, but they haven't got any chronic failure issues or you'd hear about it every time they come up (as with the early model Ultradrives ie, which took a long time to shake that reputation).
They're light enough that dropping is low risk (low risk to slip/drop, low risk to break when dropped), cheap enough that you can afford to use more instead of ragging them, and carry a spare(s) in case of failure, and still be cheaper than equal performance alternatives (except maybe rebadged clones ie Blue-Aran's 'JAM systems' stuff, although I heard a rumour those are hardwired to only work every other day). Whether the cost benefit ratio over time remains favourable after factoring expired warranties and failures in areas that aren't economically serviceable is another matter, but then you're looking at timescales and gigging requirements that go beyond the concerns of most new systems on a budget. If the system in question has a realistic prospect of gigs frequent enough to make the risk of amp failure in the field severe, then unless they're in a very poor part of the world or they're working for pleasure, they'll be able to extend their budget to buy more and better amps from part of the proceeds of those gigs. iNukes have a good used market value so just trade them in as and when. If you can actually afford a practical sized rack of the big league lightweights (I hesitate to call them 'heavyweight lightweights'), then the Berry amps probably are a false economy, but if you can't then they aren't, and they still might be worth carrying as backups for the premium stuff. Everything has at least some risk of failure in the field.
