Lighting looked spot on Tom, now i am not really into my lighting but even i came away wanting to buy a boat load of Clay Paky Miniscans Broken Heart

longman light is the manufacturer of the parco 9a, they are 60 chip 3w units, and 2 of them provided all the front light for that stage...in other words, bright.

I've been told there about £350 - £400 used which isn't bad i guess....

Nah, we have a few Martin MX-1s in stock but at the moment we're not really wanting to stretch ourselves into lighting as well.

You really did all those people with 4 arcline a side?? Did you get an SPL reading at any time? Was there a limit set by the council at all?

the limit at santapod these days is 8db FOH and 0bd  4mtrs from FOH

I would say 4 Arcline a side for 2000 - 2500 people ( dance music )

miniscan 300's do not have rotating gobos.
 
4 arcline 6 a side with 8 subs easily copes with that tent - we had approx 20db left in the system with levels limited to 105 dB flat in the centre of the tent which is a reasonable limit, but not "club" loud. Still, plenty loud enough for the crowd, the tent was packed all night.
