Hi

Im looking into bullet tweeters . I have a reggae sound system

I see people using:

Beyma CP22
B&C DE35

From what I understand these are midrange and mid quality, but ok

Ive also looked into super tweeters: 

JBL Selenium 
Voyz vz47a

So , what I want to know is - which of the normal bullet tweeters are the most hifi sounding . Is there anythign considered 'better' than the Beyma & B&C models

& with the super tweeters , whats out there.  I saw shaka using massive super tweeters and im fascinated to learn what models are considered the best sounding - not just rare vintage ones , I want to know what is available off the shelf

Fostex bullets are a lot more expensive. Don't think I've ever heard any.

The new Faital ones look alright.

The majority listed are going to sound basically the same. The difference in sound would be based on the user's ability to tune it accordingly to the compression driver. 

All Tweeters that resemble a Bullet, takes a nose dive above 15 - 16 kHz. It is the nature of the design. If you are looking for High Fidelity (18 - 20 kHz) , you will need to look at Slots or Radials. However, they are more expensive and not popular in the scene you are in.

Bullets main objective is to just offer a "Tsk, Tsk, Tsk" sound and that's it. Essentially, that is all is needed in the scene you are in. 

If you were using a lot of tracks that offered a lot of female vocals, Bullets will allow the sibilance to pass through. Male vocals are the dominant in Reggae Music. If your tracks offer primary instrumentals with, very little vocals, searching for Hi - Fi Tweeters will not meet up to your requirements as the majority of the music you are reproducing, offers not much energy above 16 kHz.

Don't over analyze. Buy the one you heard, that sounds pleasing to your ear and, buy multiples until you achieve the output required.

Bullets are super tweeters.. the intended use case is ~5khz up so no midrange output at all just sibilants and highhat cymbals. 
Believe it or not a regular 1" CD like the DE35 that might be setup on a larger horn and covering from 2khz up can produce topend air and sizzle just like a super tweeter, it just takes a little EQ. But the wavelengths up in that top octave(10k-20khz) get very small and the output pattern of any single driver narrows as frequencies increase so it can help to have mutiple HF drivers splayed in an arc.. an argument for super tweeters.

Yes. That is what is considered slots. JBL 2405 was the original and Beyma offered their version once JBL discontinued their version.
