Hello all, I was trying to find more topics about CAMCO iD4 audio amplifier... but nothing.
If somebody has some information about it and want to share with me, will be great. I'm on the way to buy one of this, or 2 if are good enough for bass (800 Wrms/ch, normal music, not dnb or other with extra deep bass reproduction).
From specifications point of view looks good, also DSP is included. CAMCO say that is "the well known CAMCO's sound."
It is true? Wink

Thank you

LA12 has PFC, Q power...not, then the power output seems to be different (LA4 and iD4), but if you really compare them...OK

Hello all, perhaps some persons are still interested in this topic.
Finally (December 2019) I received 2 amplifiers CAMCO ID4. I test them > great sound (HD Smile ), high power sustained in time. The DSP it is really nice. I do not know what have inside an LA4x or LA12 but this amplifier looks nice:

Do have somebody here the DSP presets for NEXO, L Acoustics or .... etc ? Which will fit to CAMCO ID4 DSP ? Tongue

Best regards
Alex

Nexo has been using it's own (Yamaha) amplifiers/sistem controllers for some time , the othe other option is a controller with sensing inputs + any amp. EQ curves and high pass filters  that you wish to implement on DSP are just a part of the story ....

Don't know about L'acoustics.

The LA12X is the Qpower 14, which does have PFC. They just call it different in the brochure.

I have now got 5 of these power amplifiers, I have Nexo PS15 Tobs on it and Nexo Subs has never had such a good sound. If you need a power amplifier for professional use, the Camco is just right.

Yes, true: the sound it is transparent, detailed, worm, strong all the best characteristics. One weak point let's say it is about missing PFC.
@JoshR77 do you use external DSP for your system? Or Camco's DSP ?

Best regards
Alex
