hi :)
anyone had any experience with some of those http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electronic-Car-Audio-Subwoofer-Crossover-Unit-3-Band-/260543070355?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item3ca993c093 11 quid worth the money or waste of 11 quid? its not for a proper system, just building myself a boombox for use on the job site using mainly skip parts keeping them costs down. |

Good stuff for boomboxes. You're always better off with modifying the lowpass on your amp but this is a nice 'ready to go' option.
You can see some reviews on this site: http://www.conrad.nl/ce/nl/product/379725/Subwoofer-filter-SUB-50. It's dutch, but google translate is your friend :)

Nice! Coax or separate woofer/tweeter? Don't forget to post your project on the forum :)

It's a lowpass only, isn't it? s'pose it'll be OK to incorporate a woofer with other speakers that naturally roll off
