They are probably quite similar. If you were going to clone it,youd have to have the right driver. Cheers |

it was hard to give a proper opinion because we had both stacks running at the same time, obviously im biased to mine and the other crew to theirs but we are going to have a proper soundclash type event in the new year where 1 stack will be running for 30 mins then the other for 30 mins like a vs type thing, then we will be able to give you a proper comparison, the other crew are also members on here called subliminal audio, maybey they will comment and give you their opinions :)

Subliminal from Bristol? Sweet add me on facebook mate my names Sam moore, im from bideford/barnstaple way so may be able to come up for it.
Also what was your rough comparison between the 2? I mean I heard 4 usb2's last weekend and i've never heard a folded horn as heavy as that. So if they are anything to compare then that's a start! Did they keep up?
I ask because i have 2 selenium hb1805c1's which are very similar to sl36's and was considering upgrading my pd186s to v-1000's sometime

yeah man subliminal audio from bristol :)
personally i thought that they were about equal, i cant give you a proper opinion because there was so many conflicting comments and opinions on the events page which is why i would like to do another event where there will only be one stack playing at a time, the postioning of the stacks were very different too, sublimials stack was bang on the dancefloor and mine off to one side, i was stood behind my stack most the night so all i could really hear was mine, but im sure if you were on the dancefloor then subliminals stack would have been much closer, one thing i can tell you is that a few of my mates could hear it from trowbridge and we were in club ice westbury :D if you would like to see my sl36's in action i am putting on an event on the 10th nov again in club ice, i will be more than happy to demonstrate earlier in the day at soundcheck or something if you wanted to see for yourself :)
