Change XLR to Speakon on Lab 1300SS

   My amp has XLR Out for the speakers and I need to change them for Speakon chassies.

My problem there is some component welded directly to the XLR:s do I need to have this on the Speakons to or can I remove them? Also there is some ground what can I do with this on the Speakons?

	Those are decoupling capacitors and quite odd to have them there. I´d just solder them onto the Speakon connector just in case they really are needed. That shouldn´t be a problem, no? One from 1- to Earth and the other betweem 1+ and 1-. No polarity, so can go either way around.
