Evening all
Im After some small 8" cabs for conference work and also to act as mini foldback wedges at small acoustic pub gigs. Something like the Martin Audio f8+ or Logic ML8 .... Will also consider 10s. Prefer not to have to use active processing to get them sounding nice aka nexo.. speakers should sound good out the box! Cheers Jim |

Ive got around 5 pairs of milltec 8" , they're actually not bad cabs , decent enough looking drivers and sound spot on . Have the wedge cut out , pretty much the same as an f8 . might not be posh enough though !

they look more like the tp range on the miltec website but they dont list a TP8 ! , I'll get to the lock up at some stage and get one photographed . Cabs are plywood and have a real tough paint finish , almost linex standard

Hi Joe, not sure the trap shape is enough to be used as floor wedges, cheers though

If they are the Mk2’s I can confirm the Miltec MTA-TP8 that
DJdarch has for sale do have the Fane 8-225 fitted along with a CD131 1”
comp for the HF and are a proper 45° wedge, I have a pair of white ones here
that I purchased from nickyburnell a
while ago when I needed another set of small monitors, I was pleasantly surprised
by how they sound.
I can also confirm the cases are ply. |
