Yes, maybe - but never actually doubles the available power compared to just using normal (dual) operation, due to losses in the PSU, etc. when you bridge. And definitely adds stress to the O/P devices.

Also, limits the number of drivers you can connect, ie unless it is a 'big boy' (ie expensive) amp, you will only be able to connect a couple of speakers (in parallel). Only well made/decent amps will allow 4 ohm bridging and even less 2 ohm.

As Foo says, hardly worth the bother. Either get a bigger amp - or more sensitive drivers!  Smile
