the XTi's are very nice, they don't suffer much from the same problems that the i-Techs do, but they are about the same aspect between the two, the XTi's seem more reliable and from what i hear, sound amazing. they are very nice amps .

Sound good, onboard DSP is cool, reasonably light, brand name product at an affordable price.. Reliability seems to be OK ( have installed a pair and used a pair for monitors w. no issues)

You can use the onboard DSP for limiting, EQ, delay, gain, crossover etc. Everything should be acessible from the front panel, but its much easier just connecting your laptop via USB and be able to dump the exact same presets into several amps quickly..

i own 3 of these things. never gave me trouble. saves you money on having to get an outboard dsp. these amps handle 2 ohms well but will get hot. 4ohms recommended. I suggest download the Architect software from Harman Pro before they remove it since they just got sold off. Download the program, install the amps and it is really nice to use.

I've been using a couple of the 2000's for foldback at a a venue for 10 weeks now.
The amps are driving 3 x 12"+1" jbl wedges and a 2x15"+2" drumfill.
One was unstable, it was replaced pretty quickly, my feeling it was the
drum fill (jbl) it was connected to.
The passive crossver failed a week after the amp was replaced.
The amps do get very warm running into 8 ohms, and hot when running
bridged into a 4 ohm load, the venue's ambient temperature could have
something to do with this, it gets really warm in there.
You might not like the distortion at 2 ohm loads, but at 4 and 8 ohm it's OK.
So far they've performed as per the specs, with the DSP they are pretty
good value for the $.

Yeah, me being a tight arse git only went up to £400 for it. Going to have to pay £690 for a new one now to go with the XTI 1000 i just bought.

Write up your opinions when you have had chance to use it.

will do. i wasnt the winning bider (second offer) but that may have just been some clever bidding on their behalf to get the bids up.
