Are there any other names they went under? I am looking for a schematic currently.

This thing is soo cool, I wish I had a use for it however.

Hi Stevie,
May I kindly request your help. I am trying to find background info about the production of Charvel Jackson amps in 87-88. Paul Gagon, who designed them, indicates that your dad was involved, he mentioned a UK company called Audio Factor, on which I was able to find nothing. Research has brought me to this forum. Does this ring a bell with you? Thanks in advance.

Audio Factors operated out of a warehouse in an old mill in Pudsey, Leeds, run by a bloke called Morris, who chomped a pipe. It's a housing estate now so I hear...sigh...
FAL was also in Leeds (Not to be confuesd with F.A.L. lighting of Italy) on Henconner Lane, and made disco lights and decks & speakers. I think FAL, Custom Sound, and a few other brands all ended up under the Audio Factors umbrella.

Thx. Paul has since confirmed that the ID on the faxes he would receive was sometimes Audio Factors, sometime Fidelity Audio. I guess it was all a group indeed. Cheers

Fidelity was the hi-fi brand they owned. Fal was the main company until the management buyout around 1990.

I remember the old mill building which you picked goods up at, the plastics place was also near by. The head office/showroom was called custom sound house.

If only you could see my face as I read this post.

I have a large Custom Sound amp I picked up a few years back from FB marketplace, at the time I tried and failed to find any information on it and it's since been stashed in the garage, but every so often I'll hunt around on google to find out more about it, which is how I found this thread. I'd love to restore some of the leaky caps and fix some wiring that's been cut/damaged over the years, is there any chance I could get in touch to find out more info from you or your dad? On the back it says it's a CS700D (might be C5700D, it's handwritten)

Side note, on the inside there's a tested date of 11-9-75 with the initials P.K which I'm guessing is Pete Keeling as mentioned in the OP, mystery solved!
