delay on scoops?

so do you have to delay scoops?

we'll be taking out our finished system in a few weeks, we'll be using the following...
x2 superscoops
x1 G sub
x2 boke audio tops (turbosound/F1 kinda copys)

the tops will be delayed by 400mm to line up with the G sub, but do we have to delay the scoops?
scoops are odd, do i time align with the driver firing forward or delay for the time it takes to travel round the horn?

Would there be any advantages of reversing the polarity of the driver and delaying a scoop intime with your system with respect to the length of the horn?
