Little bit... the kicks and w-bin are horn loaded.

I do believe unless it's a particularly long path or ported the w-bin it won't go low-low.

Like that yes... but don't go just cutting into the bin you have. At least IF you are going to butcher the one you have at least measure the volume of the box the driver sits in and tune it to about 45-50hz. It WILL have a slight attenuating effect on the horn loading but you're trading extension for SPL.

Think if i was going to do that id cut holes and put tubes in rather than a slot. At least you can pull the ports easily to adjust length then if the tuning isn't right.
