Ive got 8 kappa 15lf hds and im very happy with them,  pds sounded a bit tighter and go a tad louder when i heard them but not a lot more, the kappas are fine in hds.  Think they will go a little lower than the pds too.

What  frequency range do you run through your kappa's to get the best sound?

About 50hz-140/160hz, depends on what tops were using but the the hds are fine upto 160.   we have run them with bandpass subs from 80Hz up wich sounds a bit smoother and gos lower.  a 50Hz hpf or higher is a good idea, can mabie go a bit lower in large stacks.

"but was there not someone on here recently talkin out havin p audios rippin themselves apart on hd15's maybe not that particualr model i dunno"

ye, that was a problem with the challenger series i think. maybe somehting like the SD 15 would be better suited.... maybe have alook at some of the neo p audio divers, they start off around 80 quid, no idea what they'll sound like though.

Did you ever post feedback on your drivers? I'm interested in building two scoops with either kappa 15lf or delta pro 15a i was wondering how yours sounded?
Although five years later I'll be lucky if i get a reply. LOL

Cheers. Smile
