Can I connect a 4 ohm and an 8 ohm speaker, and parallel to the left channel. And do the same for the right channel. Or will this cause issues with my receiver. The receiver in question is a Denon DRA 800 H

i believe the recomended ohms on DRA 800 is 4 to 16 ohms, when you put 4 and 8ohms in paralel you get 2.67ohms (less than 4). So i would not do it.

Specs for that receiver are not good with low impendence. 2x100w @8ohms 20-20, but only 2x120w @6ohms 1khz. No figures given for 4ohm operation, so I doubt it will perform well unless at low volume.
