Thats Ok mon bizuth.
I hope to get time to delve into it later. Not in one of the sheds of course. Minus 2 in one right now. Brrrrr.
Warm as toast indoors though. Woodburner going well. Could do with some crap speaker boxes to chuck on.
I have googled Disco bounce. All it finds now is this post... Shame. There was an old Carlsbro speaker as well at this auction. It went for £20.00. Too much for firewood..... Good pic to post though.

It would be interesting to see if there is a manufacture date anywhere inside as well,im going to guess this is about 1975/76 ish, going by the chrome "Akai" style knobs. The gap to the right is where the turntable once sat?
Quite funny how that have named themselves Disco Bounce international, presumably they were planning to export these? Cant really see it in Paradise Garage or Studio 54 though!

Looks very much like the kind of stuff that Discosound used to put out in the early seventies---I think they did do versions of stuff that anyone could put their own logo on the front.
The big chrome knobs and swirly script are very much a Discosound trademark.

It's a purpose built cab. Inside is a 1984 stamp mark. So some pics as promised. How lucky it is cold and snow, so I'm bored....
![]() Rear view with back removed.
![]() The weedy guts has spilled. MJ15003's. On a decent PSU this is circa 150W 8R. Here however the TX is about 60VA and 30-0-30, so it is most likely a 50W machine rated at 100W !!! hissssssy 741's in the pre-amp.
![]() Anyone recognise this PCB? I bet it was common.
![]() In an effort to help cool the amp Billy decided to put a cooker hood extractor on top. He likes it. I guess he is correct as always. I mean you would not like to argue would you. As it is a highly valuable item he is still there on sentry duty right now.
When I get time one day I will run it up, and fix it if necessary. Might even race tune it!

Looks very similar to the internals of my little NJD SA220 amp. Same output transistors I think.

How strange! when i first saw it,i assumed it was a console, the gap on the right was for a turntable, but of course, now can see all of it,it obviously isnt.....and with just a microphone and cassette input...to old to be an early kareoke machine....i wonder what its intended use was?....cant be any form of factory/hotel paging system with a lighting controller......maybe a stand-up comedian's simple portable pa? sort of budget-end Pheonix nights type affair?
If its dated 1984,chances are the designer/maker may still be alive,so come on,Mr Disco-Bounce,own up!

The internals of that amp look identical to a 'torque' 4 channel pa amp that I had years ago, was quite a loud old thing but would run red hot if you cranked it up only slightly. I also had one of those sound creations light controllers as well as a 4 channel version and two mono consoles with built in amps and horrible BSR decks.
