Nice rig, what sort of music are you playing on it? Regarding others with similar boxes Bat Feats have a load of punishers (maybe 12?). I dont think anyone else has built an xtro top, Sub temple have something similar but band pass kick, not a double 15 on a horn. Most of the multi way DIY tops seem to be unity horns, there must be at least 5 people who have had a go at building them in aus. |

Mostly house, techno and disco, we have done some other stuff like dancehall and ambient.
We mostly take bookings from other promotors, rarely put on our own events. Do a fare ammount of international bookings, Mr Scruff, Theo Parish, Helina Hauff, Mama Snake, A Made Up Sound, DJ Bone to name a few.

Love the cheeky humour in some of the rig names, like "housewives choice" and "boom boom soundsystem"

He brought his own sound guy; rather than fiddle with our processing, he had a digital desk and EQed the system to their tastes with that. |

Its no skin off our teeth, just means we didn't have to monitor the system all night, could focus on the party :) Edited by citizensc - 24 January 2020 at 12:45am |

Nexus looks good for me. Simple, reasonable and effective and they know something about pattern control / dispersion. Well made stacks too.
Not like those horrible and ugly "lets just stack different speakers together and feed them through some kind of crossovers and amps", knowing nothing about how to make high quality live/pa sound. Phasing and comb filtering issues etc.. Edited by Tonskulus - 24 January 2020 at 1:23pm |
