do i go for 121 or 122 for use with hd's & x1's

   i am thinking about building 8 hd's and 6 x1's. i am planning to stack them all on their sides two rows of each so the rig will be pritty square! aranged this way i will only have room for 4 mt121's or 122's ontop.
What would be better to use in this setup mt121's or mt122's? 
the 8 hd's will be loaded with PD-154's and the 6 x1's will be loaded with void v18-1000's
