If you have a good LMS (even the dcx2496 would do) then it is pretty easy to phase align at the Xover point between your subs and kick just using your ears and a test tone. There is a lot of advice on this forum about it. Should make a very appreciable difference if they are that much out of phase now.

^^This You may well get it sounding better by sorting your LMS out, but you have a fundamental electrical issue by the sounds of it (amp thermalling/protecting, bad connection in cab, amp rack, cable, etc) BTW, did it actually come back on again or was it off for the end of the night? i cant remember to be honest. my mate reckons it come back on, i know we didnt blow them.
so say if i had my 1850's doin 42hz-80hz and hd's doin 80-180/200hz (this is how we had it and everyone including the club manager was happy with so thats how i was told to leave it) were would i put my phase on my dcx2496 (80o)
