This is a PD186 or PD184, but never 1850.

A Crocodile throat by the look of it, Hell that took a battering.

Never criticise another man until you've walked a mile in his shoes. Once you have, call him what you like, you're a mile away and you've got his shoes!

Nope, definately looks like a PD.1850 chassis and motor.... but it looks like a 'Frankenstein' job has been done on it... possibly a non-genuine recone? The spiders/spacer is bolted to the chassis, so definately PD.1850.

My opinion......

There are no long braids on a genuine PD.1850 as they enter the coil via the spacer between the spiders, the braids in the pic are very thin and have a little piece of cone stuck to ends of them, this means they entered the coil through the cone, under the dome.... the lugs on the inside of the former are covered in glue too, part of the non-genuine recone process.... the outer suspension (and whole look of the cone) is wrong, it is also dry and brittle, this means it's had the plastic coating, but has not had the moyen applied to keep it supple after being finished.... the dome is also the wrong shape.

Why I think this.....

I was looking over one of these today, took it back the factory - the production staff couldn't stop laughing. LOL

It's alive....!! No, it's dead.

Yes, I see know. I judged on the cone, that just isn't from PD1850 .
