Assuming he is genuine, he states that he is a designer and manufacturer, so I wonder why he needs to know anything about anything. If you are a true designer, you should know by looking at other cabs whether they would work or not. You will also notice that proper designers stick to their own stuff, so you won't get them being influenced by other designs.
