Power in that place is sketchy. I once traced the the 2 x 16 amp sockets upstairs to 2 x 13 amp plugs one with a 10 amp fuse in.
Try testing your amp on a known decent power source.

We've ran in there a few times. Had 10 punishers run off a pair if e45s. They staff were loosing their s**t and making us turn it down all night. It was pretty loud. Last time, had 6 punishers run off a k8. Had one of the other rigs saying he was thinking of selling his void and buying punishers. The main room was def drawing some serious juice. Had a pair of k8 running 4 infra sub's and a heap of turbo sound off labs. Maybe their draw was making ours lack?

Depending on the design, some amplifiers can prematurely clip if the voltage is too low. This can lead to the larger amplifier performing worse than two amplifiers delivering the same task offering less power. You may not have enough current on demand for one E 100 but more than enough for two E 45 amplifiers. Best Regards, |

Nice to hear you are still happy with your Punishers! Stack of 10 is quite serious already.

Main room in black swan power seemed fine last time I had a go, I did a weekend in there with two band stages - one at each end and so used all the 32a and 16a. tested and metered alright as I recollect. all on powersoft k.

I think Elliott may have hit the hammer on the head. Bad power in the Swan + mega amp = fail. I have put racks in the Swan maybe 30 times. Swan electrics are not the best. I |

The 63A feed from the main consumer unit in the bar to the sub consumer unit in the main room has at some point in the past been Y split (seemingly half sensibly with some incommer style terminal blocks) to feed both the sub consumer unit and a 63A ceeform on the back wall of the main room.
IMHO the only safe, peace of mind way to approach the electrics in the main room is to stick a 63A rubber box style distro with RCBOs into that socket and then run your kit from that. Wouldn't trust any electrics in the swan. |

This happened to me recently with an E-90.
The problem was a dodgy speakon, when switched out everything went back to normal |
