Hi guys, quick one,

Don't have any equipment or any way of testing the phases to hand, and the internal xover is real hard to access (to see if it's indicated on the xover) , but I'm putting back together these tops and the colours are confusing me, so the LF wiring colours are blue and black, which is the positive and which is the negative does anyone know? Obv the terminals on the driver are red and black, so I would assume black to black but then blue to red is pranging me out, I'm thinking black may be positive?

Then we come onto the mid/hi which is on the internal xover and the colours are black and yellow.. I would usually assume yellow would be positive in that scenario but then I'm doubting myself massively now LOL

And don't say check the rear of the connector because I'm switching out socoplex for nl4's and I've already ditched the socoplex

9v battery applied briefly to the speaker circuit should provide confirmation of polarity:
+ on battery to + on speaker,
 - on battery to - on speaker
speaker cone should move outwards.

Best disconnect x-over from a speaker before doing this on individual.cone, but as your problem is the crossover connections, it might be possible to use a known DC polarity and observe the woofer cone movement....   although I have no idea what this could do to the HF components (probably nothing good) so perhaps disconnect the HF first....
At least this will give you the original designer's designation for the black polarity, which should be consistent across the whole board.

Thanks! Would of done this but didnt have a 9v battery to hand, was hoping someone would just know..

Good to know the black cable will be consistent throughout the cab though, it was really confusing me, ive always gone along the lines of a 'warm' colour was the positive and a 'cool' colour / black was the negative, but that doesnt really make sense in this scenario
