Thats pretty good. Still, the buyer can rest assured that probably wasn't used for long before it gave up.

Here's an interesting one:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/205862272398
Correctly described as faulty, but read on...

That same unit was sold (also described as faulty) a month ago for £336.96, see here:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/257134936772

Between then and now somebody has disguised it by swapping the distinctive white jack socket nuts for black ones, fitting a new (looks bodged) pushbutton switch, and - best of all - altered the serial number from 0459 to 0469 with a black pen.

Anybody who has used one of these will know what a lovely thing it is when working. But a dead one is BER (Beyond Economic Repair) and almost worthless because the delay chips, which were somewhat fragile if not treated carefully, haven't been made for years and are unobtainable.

That's a good one. Oh dear. Yup, good luck finding parts for that.
Be seeing you.

Well, some unsuspecting punter has paid over £300 for it !

I wonder how long it will be before it reappears, described as "I don't know what this is, and haven't been able to test it" or similar?
