hi peeps, just come across some ecler amplifiers - they are APA and DPA series. wondering if anyone knows the difference between these and if they are actually any good? cheers

Nekem volt Ecler apa 1400, apa 2000...nem voltak jók. Eladtam. Hangra sokkal jobb Dynacord sl 1200,1800,2400 vagy Electro voice Q66,Q99,Q1212 vagy mi Chevin Q6 ot használunk. Széles sávra. Mély szekciora meg crown macrotech 3600vz

I've used all of the APA ones. I think they sound pretty good, although I've had problems with background buzzing and noise on the outputs on pretty much all I've used. The 600, 1000 and 1400 are the same design, the 2000 is different. They aren't rated to drive 2ohms. I think the DPA ones are the same, just later versions. The early APA models had a green power button, the later ones had a black one with an orange light.

i have used the ecler apa 1000 to run my bullets( from 5.5khz) from 2005, its been used on every gig i have done and sounds 99% better t han anything eles i have put it up against :) the apa is class AB hence why its heavy and does get rather warm
