They look quite a bit like an Incubus Sub to be honest! Sure they sound great though, using up all that cone mass and RMS power for a higher tuning probably kicks the teeth out of the heads of the front row!

My guess would go on 2x21".

They do look awesome, but they do also look incubus like. Not saying that's bad though. Smile

@b grade - Klingon bracing you say Big smile thanks, am glad it has an alien kind of look!

@Toastyghost - that's correct in that we have tuned them higher for more attack for mostly rock band related use.  Would you say the similarities you see with the Incubus are due to the styling of the bracing, the overall cabinet design, or both?  The design is actually an adaption of a slimmer version of what we had deigned long before the Incubus (you'll have to take my word for it though) and utilises 2 x 18" drivers.

@KidCreole - we get an average of sensitivity by taking readings every 10Hz between 50 - 150Hz on a dB meter. This is at 100w @ 10m.

Better to do every 1/x of an octave rather than fixed increment - your method will put proportionally more measurements in the upper part of the response, where a lot of horn based systems are more efficient, so that can skew the resulting calculated value away from what's realistic.
HTH,
David.

Not just the bracing, but the port positioning, bracing point, flare rate, etc!

That would mean 4x15", I believe it would be kind of a big box for 15"s and it probably wouldn't weigh 150kg if that was the case. Anyhow, we're both wrong, it's a 2x18". LOL

I just thought about 21"s for the similarity with the Void boxes.

I'm pretty sure no one here believes you have copied anything Ross, I think sometimes going in the right direction leads to having similar results as others.
