I have heard nothing but good about those vintage martin 115's for bass/midbass duty.
"Best sounding bass horn ever" etc..
6 pieces should do the job just fine (paired with subs if needed).  I would take them no doubt, even tho never hears them irl :)

Kick like donkeys eh?  Father Francis I don't think I've ever heard a martin speaker before.  How would you describe the sound?  I am looking for kick and midbass power but I also want it be warm, rich and musical.  Thoughts?

Jay the speakers sound very good they do what you want them to do , I've been renting out some F1 res3sh tops with some es18 under them for tecnho nights , they sounded ok til i changed to115's the room came alive , the guys said that was what they had been looking for , we do reggae , house all kinds of music , just add some bassbins and you're fine trust me, you have from 50hz-24/50hz to play within them depending on the genre of music, they are warm ,rich and musical. if the drivers are blown and you can't get PD1550 get the RCF  MB15N401

Don't bother with 215/2. 115 and 215/1 are just awkward. F2B Is a shout. If you find 215/3, thay are actually quite rare. They didn't build many. But you'll want 6 minimum
