I have a question about the freq response of the es18 or es218 bins.
Can it run 92 - 360 hz properly?

Being a bandpass design, no, it won't do that. Solid 60-65 up to 180-200 Hz. Either end of the spectrum it's respons drops fast. What you need, is a low-mid cab, with 12" or 15" speakers, not not a kickbass cab with an 18" in it. |

Okay thanks,
do you have some good suggestions for 15" bins for 90-360hz? Like HD15 or something?

Though HD15 is smaller and is/was intended to start working somewhat higher up than ES18BPH, same problem, bandpass design, so limited in bandwidth too, In any case the high end comes about an octave short (region that covers ~180-360 Hz) for your need with these two designs.
The solution would be either a straight (or gently curved) front loaded horn (FLH) or a reflex design (BR) with 2 speakers to make up for the extra sensitivity BPH or FLH yield over a BR design. a FLH tends to get pretty big and complicated in construction and I would also only take that route if used in multiples. For smaller setups, BR is by far much easier in construction and more manageable in size. Respons/SPL prediction is pretty easy too. |

For the ES18, what will be the best crossover freq? It starts from 92hz untill? 200? 250?
I'm changing my crossoverpoints

I will have my scoops from 30-92hz and so my kickbins (es18) will be 92-200. will the scoops and kickbins play well together you think?
In other words: will the es18 bin play fine from 92hz? because I read that everyone starts from around 65 hz... |
