Hello all, hope you can help.. I have a EV DX38 digital speaker processor that’s locked with a 4-digit security code that I don’t have, tried the default but no go.. can anyone help me to get the unit functioning again? Unfortunately it’s retrofitted with NRS 90246 contact closure interface so has no RS-232 serial connectivity to be able to clear the EEPROM via terminal! Kind regards, Jimmy

Press and hold down the Edit key and the Right Arrow while powering it on. It will get you into service mode where you can set it to re-initialize the memory which should reset everything.

Think the answer may be to find somebody somewhere that has a RS232 interface they pulled when swapping out for the RS485 interface!

You need to have more than 10 points (ie 10 posts, more or less), unless someone nice decides to use the "thanks" function to boost your points....
