Hard to say, as they work well in some scoop bins like the Shortman or ASS ones.

But b-lines aint scoops, and the V18-1200 is more a scoop driver.

Would go for PD186 in them personally, as I know someone whos uses PD186 in T18's and is very very happy with the sound.

Other than PD186's, I have no other knowledge of suitable decent drivers for T18's.

The original EV drivers for T18's are pretty much a joke nowadays with a 2.5 inch coil.
Most decent 18 inchers have 4 inch coil or larger.

thanks for the info, i just got a bit of a fright when i searched the net after an impulse buy of the pair of t18s and saw they are loaded with 400w drivers. i thought that putting such a high powered driver in them might damage my lovely drivers

That's right mate - & a big reflex one too. Bigger than a standard G-Sub.

V18-1200 is a beefier version of the PD186, why you telling him to take a step back in performance?
Produce a killer sound. Take no prisoners.

Hearing the pair of V18-1200's in a G-Sub you seem to realize that the way it sounds, you're just wasting the value of the drivers.

A pair of B-Lines in it sounded better!

The box really needs to be bigger like Rog has stated many times - As this driver is a bit of a monster.

Having used t18s alot in the past i dont think they would suit the v1200

IMO theyre quit a tight box and the most id put in them would be a 600 - 700w driver!

I agree. I've had loads of these. However if you ONLY have two put the drivers in cone facing floor for a laugh. The throw is amazing. For some reason they act funny in pairs like this, top one upside down works, but not two side by side. I've been looking for a technical answer to this for years...Anybody
It's everything, not everythink!
