hi there people. just wondering if anyone knows where i can get hold of some decent fabric cases/covers for 1850's as i wish to keep mine prestine, and how much would they cost.

find an underemployed seamstress or upholsterer with a working industrial sewing machine perhaps
Get her or him to make some from cordura nylon or something tough. Seen some sort of glossy upholstery fabric used sometimes. Theres some cordura type fabric on the bay at the moment. just scroll through the motorbike gear to see it if you search for cordura.

Been thinking down this path already for some of my gear, an aunt has the correct sewing machine. Just not asked her yet. There are probably companies too that would make to order though as I doubt there are many for sale already made for 1850s.

I would turn to Void in this one because they have capabilities to manufacture Looney Bins, they should have the capability to make a batch of Looney Bin covers, which should fit nicely 1850s since they are almost the same box, at least the outer dimensions are the same and that is what matters with covers.

wicked thanks for you help guys. pfly ill give void a ring and see what they can quote me. and richard let me know when you have got ur aunt on the case if void cant help, id happily pay someone to make them for me if they turn out nicely.
