sorry for the crude model, it's just a quick doodle with my very basic sketchup skills Embarrassed

front: 40cm wide, 35 cm high
back: 20 cm wide, 35 cm high
35 cm deep

-> ~14° angle on each side
-> maximum splay with two cabs side by side ~30 °
-> volume ~36 l

Dude youve done some mad work or have a lot of extra timeLOL Thanks a lot!

I just dont have the tools to make angled cuts so this kinda design is "impossible" for me to do.I could use a file but...

There are many other people who can use your design so no worries, nice workClap

Ill play with winisd and see what size would be "best". Thanks for the 70 vs 40l comparison. Ill just build a simple boring traditional box LOL I might make it a bit smaller, thanks for the tip!

Respect!

You don't have a single family member or neighbour that could lend you one? It would make things a lot easyer.

Yeah!

So far Ive used the sawing service at the wood shop so Ive only cut the holes for the driver with jigsaw.

I need to ask if the guys at the wood shop can they do angled cuts with their big machine, they propably can...

edit.If they can do the cuts Ill do the bob412"sLOL

If its a "wall saw" more likely they cant... but for a very small outlay i would be worth investing in a circular saw. Using a straight bit of timber will cut straight lines quite well and with a bit if practice with do angle cuts nicely too.

My plunge saw set me back 150 but thats because i had 150 to throw at it.
Iv even ( a very long time ago) i built a jig/clamp system that i could use a belt sander on for angles. Not great, not ideal but it did work.

My monkey brain has come up with following cutlist in cm:

front-40x35
back-20x35
(with 3cm front piece sinkin and 1,5mm ply) sides- 41x41
top&bottom 20x40x41

Help a fellow monkey out and tell me have I got the pieces rightLOL
