Hey everybody,

i feel free to reactived this thread with a question.

which controller setup you use for this cab?

i actually can call two my own and i´m trying a little bit but i think, there can be more :)
loaded with "Mivoc MPA SWA 15100 C8" ( https://www.mivoc.com/gs/product_info.php?info=p109_mpa-swa-15100-c8.html )
i like the sound and the nice punch ;)

greetings from germany, daniel

How do you mean?

The first page of this thread recommends using them from 60Hz up, any other settings are going to depend more on the drivers you have in them and the other cabinets you are using them with.

That depends entirely on your tops and personal preference, it's not something someone can tell you over the internet.
Your best bet would be to find somebody local to you that knows how SMAART works and get them to set your delays and EQ to give you something to start from

I had 4 of these exact bins loaded with PD154s and they would kick like a mule. Great for house/techno. Take it first hand loaded properly these cabs will do you proud. Even kappa LFs would work well if the budget won’t stretch to PDs.

alright,
thank you all for the advise - they sound pretty fine with pd 1550 :)

the next quesion goes to power handling.i got the Thomann TSA 4-1300 and a Zeck PT 7 -
DCX 2496 Controller - almost everytime with a A&H Xone DJ-Mixer

tsa 4-1300 // 1220w 8 ohm per channel / 1670w 4 ohm per channel
zeck pt 7 // 1400w 8 ohm in bridge mode / ????w 4 Ohm in bridge mode

what you think will be the best match and how much power?

best regards, daniel

I used to use PT7's, and IIRC they're about 950W at 2Ω per channel (so, about 1900W at 4Ω bridged)... but they didn't like it long term and would shut off regularly if pushed too hard.
