OH ARSE!

I didn't know it was the same weekend as bestival.. now I have a dilemma....

Being around 5 minutes away from my house it's really easy to get to.. I really enjoyed it last year too... and for £25 for the weekend... bargain!

Shame about the sound / sound restrictions last year...

The dub tent sounded good... those scoopers were doing the biz... shame you had to keep the levels down... but the main tent... christ did that sound bad... nexo setup screaming it's balls off at the top end, with ZERO bass.. (perhaps the only way the organisers could keep the music going with the complaints coming from the village - "DJ" could have been better too if I'm honest).

more care is being taken with tent placement this year so hopefully no complaints, and full volume on into the night

Well, I stumbled down for the Friday night with 20l of 7.5% Cider...

Good time had by all I think... from what I can remember...

Shame your scoops were running below par (400w Eminance drivers in 2 of them I understand ??)... sounded far better last year... and jeez man.. you've had a year.. where's the fourth scoop???

Babyhead where also better last year.. what a short set! and once again, the sound in the main tent was f**kING AWFUL.. I really don't know how they manage it... it sounded ok earlier on in the night... later it just offended my ears... oh well...

Dub tent was still the highlight... good vibes and tunes!!

the guys got to the site and found they had 2 x blown xb's! luckily i was still in northampton at this point and could bring down a 400w fane studio and a 600w sigma LOL. a blessing in disguise though as i believe they are now going to invest in some 1850's.

the only thing i saw on the main stage was dj vadim and i have to agree about the short sets!and  yer the sound in the main tent was a bit odd. theres just something about listening to dubstep with no bass Cry

at least you can remember some of friday night! i woke up in the boot of my car saturday morning without a clue what happened! LOL
it was nice going as a punter this year. had a lot of fun and met lots of cool people
