What do you use to high and lowpass low cabs?
Butterworth, Linkwitz Riley or Bessel? And how steap? 12, 24 or 48db/oct?

24dB Butterworth to get the cab in phase across the passband on a few cabs, L-R on others, all depends on the setup.

The obvious answer would be Bessel filters. Those give maximally flat group delay, ie. maximally linear phase response. This is important in active filters Butterworth filters are maximally flat magnitude filter which is important in passive filters. |
