Hi there, im in the process of building my first 18" super scooper PD 1850 loaded.

I was wondering at which part of the process i fit the wheels onto it? also where would i buy the wheels from.

Gracias amigos...

short (25mm or so) M8 bolts, and M8 tee-nuts are good. as to when to fit them.. decide where on the box you want them to be, then drill and fit the tee-nuts before the location becomes inaccessible. you can get castors from adam hall, blue aran, PAP, thomann.. most of those sorts of places. 100mm swivel ones are good. i've got guitel ones on most of mine.

With scoops, a popular methon is to angle the corner of the cab behind the "scoop" and fit two non swiveling castors to this section in such a way that, with two handles at the other end, they can be lent back and rolled by one person. have a look in the "show off" or "scoop porn" threads and I'm sure you'll come across pictures.

Put the tee nuts in at the panel stage, ie before it all gets screwed + glued together!

I learnt the hard way on this one..

If you forget, there's always nut inserts...

Only in M6 though. They screw into an 8mm hole from the front of the panel.
