Just don't test ht to discharge lamps, like our YTS kid did.

Fluke = meter for life. I've had mine for around 40 years now. Check out some of the EEVblog videos on yt if you want to find out about meters, eg:

I've got the 27, similar to that but with a few extra buttons.
It's an old meter but holds calibration well. The 20 series are too big to fit in a pocket!
Elderly Fluke meters can suffer lcd rot where the segments slowly fade away. As they're custom lcds and rarely available, it can write-off a meter if you're not careful. It isn't always poor pcb to glass contact as suggested on sopme forums. More often the glass lcd delaminates.

for cable testing get a dedicated cable tester. the behringer one is good for the money
